 Josh Norman, is a former NFL cornerback best known for his time with the Carolina Panthers and Washington Redskins, has made an indelible mark both on and off the field. Despite not receiving any Division I offers out of high school, Josh’s determination led him to walk on at Coastal Carolina, where his hard work earned him a scholarship and All-American honors. Drafted in 2012 by the Panthers, he went on to sign a $75 million contract, becoming the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history. Josh’s commitment to giving back is as impressive as his football career. In his hometown of Greenwood, SC, he renovated the first African-American high school, transforming it into a Teen Center for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Crescent Region. As a National Trustee for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Josh continues to invest in youth, helping them realize their full potential, just as he did through perseverance and hard work on the football field. At the event, we will honor his dedication to creating opportunities for our club members to reach their dreams. |
