Youth of the Year has stood as Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier recognition program. Honoring the extraordinary accomplishments of young people who embody leadership, service, academic excellence, and healthy living. Each year, one outstanding Club member rises to become the National Youth of the Year, serving as an ambassador for Boys & Girls Clubs and a powerful voice for young people across the nation.
Here at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tar River Region, we proudly continue this tradition of celebrating the amazing teens in our own communities who are shaping bright futures for themselves and inspiring others along the way. The Youth of the Year program is our highest honor for teens, reflecting the very best of what it means to be a Club member.
