On November 14, 2022, ten club members attended the Carolinas Youth Mentoring Symposium hosted by the Youth Mentoring Collaborative in Chapel Hill with our Director of Operations, Durell Petway.
The Carolinas Youth Mentoring Symposium is an annual event that brings together mentoring practitioners, researchers, philanthropic investors, youth leaders, government and civic leaders, and others interested in exploring how to expand mentoring initiatives.
Not only did our youth attend, our CEO, Ron Green, was also a speaker during their Youth Track session. Ron spoke to the attendees about how to build relationships to achieve their dreams. A great friend of the organization Terry Ruffin joined the event and grabbed some great photos of the day.
